History Overview
Started by the Franklin family in 1945, Franklin Interiors has played a major role in the Pittsburgh and West Virginia community for more than 65 years. First known as a residential interior design firm, the company sold high-quality home furnishings and draperies. Over time, the company’s services and inventory expanded to include office furniture. Becoming an Authorized Steelcase dealership was a mark of distinction and significantly changed our focus from home interiors to office furniture and design. Ralph Dallier purchased Franklin Interiors in June of 1992. Since that time, the company has more than tripled in size.
Franklin Interiors has grown around a vision of being the leader in providing innovative and effective office furniture and workplace solutions that exceed our clients’ expectations. Simply, we have to do more than provide great quality office furniture products at competitive prices. Our product and service offerings have grown to accommodate a broad spectrum of clients’ needs.
Currently, Franklin Interiors provides furniture, flooring, furniture management services, and architectural finishes such as wall covering and technology products, to large corporations, emerging growth companies, healthcare and educational clients. Although most of our clients are based in Pittsburgh and West Virginia, we service facilities here and nationwide. Our product and service offerings will continue to grow and evolve; this continued evolution will provide growth for our business, while providing easier single-source office furniture solutions for our clients.
